At the beginning of June, Accredited & Student Members of The Healing Foundation took part in Basic Life Support training. I was really pleased by the number of Healers who took the opportunity to learn this important skill. Although the course was held in Essex, we were joined by members from Buckinghamshire and London too. 
In the photograph you will see everyone learning CPR on adult, child and infant mannequins. They also learned about emergency scene safety, recovery position, heart attacks and choking.
Our members thoroughly enjoyed the course and were very keen to get involved. This is the first time THF have offered formal First Aid training and due to the obvious success, hope to repeat it again next year. Please get in touch if you would like to be included.
