Earlier this year, I set my current Healing Students the challenge of setting up a ‘drop-in’ healing centre. They have been training as Healers with me for over a year now and I felt they were ready to take their healing out in public.
I thought it would be a really good experience for them to find out what would be involved in such an event. After some discussion, they decided to base their centre in Chelmsford the county town of Essex.
Justine spent her lunch breaks checking out venues that we thought might be suitable. Eventually she decided on a room above a tea-room quite close to the City Centre.
They worked hard to promote the event on social media and in the local area. They also had to prepare the area on arrival and transform a cake baking area into a suitable, relaxing environment for healing. When their first visitors came through the door they all conducted themselves in a professional and caring way. Information forms were filled out, the procedure was explained, healing was given and afterwards future care advice was given. It was lovely for me to just sit in the background and supervise!
